Cover for a salt spray test facility
The original plexiglass cover of this salt spray test system needed to be replaced by a new, much sturdier cover. This was designed and manufactured by TC on the basis of GRP profiles and GRP sheet material.

Connection to the actuator
One particular challenge was connecting the cover to the existing actuator in order to transfer the loads cleanly.
Details of the connections
The high quality and durability of the connections is apparent here. Corner connections are established using GRP cores that are not visibly glued into the GRP hollow profiles.
Detail of the immersion seal
The GRP angle profile is immersed in the water-filled channel of the tank. This creates a tight seal for the system.
